40′ × 50′ × 16′ Metal Building Shop | The Copper Rooster
Built for current needs and future plans, this 2,000-square-foot shop gives the owner room for vehicles, equipment, and a camper. Four roll-up doors, including a rear door aligned for drive-through access, make it easier to move the camper through the building.
Muleshoe Buildings handled the building package, site work, concrete foundation, exterior flatwork, erection, insulation, and electrical conduit rough-in.

The owner wanted a garage that could accommodate vehicles and a camper while leaving room for a tractor and larger RV in the future. Those plans shaped the building’s size, parking layout, and access points.
The finished shop provides open interior space for parking and storage, with multiple bays and a straight drive-through path for the camper.
Drive-through camper access: An aligned front and rear roll-up door allows the owner to drive the camper through without backing it out.
Multiple parking bays: Three front roll-up doors provide separate access points for vehicles and equipment.
Clear-span interior: Open floor space gives the owner flexibility to arrange parking and storage as their needs change.

From weekend cruisers to the family camper, what you park inside matters. This shop features 3″ R-10 WMP-VRR Plus insulation to help reduce heat transfer and manage condensation. Its white facing gives the interior a clean, finished appearance worthy of what’s parked inside.

The owner needed room for current vehicles and a camper, with plans to add a tractor and larger RV. The layout needed to make parking and moving equipment practical while leaving flexibility for future needs.
Muleshoe Buildings developed a clear-span layout with three front roll-up doors and an aligned rear door for drive-through camper access. Engineered for the project’s location and intended use, the shop came together with Muleshoe handling the building package, site work, concrete foundation, exterior flatwork, erection, insulation, and electrical conduit rough-in.
The owner now has a 2,000-square-foot shop with separate parking bays, open storage space, and camper access that eliminates the need to back out. The layout serves their needs today and provides room to adapt as their vehicles and equipment change.

The value of this shop comes from how well it serves the owner’s everyday needs. Separate parking bays and drive-through camper access make the space practical today, while the open layout supports future equipment and storage plans.
