Custom pre-engineered metal building designed for long-term residential use with future-ready utility planning, upgraded finishes, and functional everyday living in mind.
Located near Columbus, Texas, this custom residential metal building project was designed to support long-term country living within a growing rural community known for its larger homesites, private lakes, paved roads, and peaceful natural surroundings. The building was planned with everyday residential usability in mind while maintaining the durability and flexibility of a pre-engineered metal building system.
The project incorporated reinforced concrete construction, spray foam insulation, residential utility rough-ins, upgraded exterior finishes, and multiple large framed openings to support both functionality and long-term performance. Throughout construction, coordination between the customer, project management team, and field crews helped maintain scheduling, delivery timelines, and overall project momentum through each phase of the build.
The final result is a residential-focused metal building designed to provide comfortable everyday use, long-term durability, and future flexibility while fitting naturally into the surrounding rural residential environment.
The building was designed to align with the surrounding acreage community while providing the durability and low-maintenance advantages of a metal building system.
Spray foam insulation was selected to help create a more comfortable interior environment suitable for long-term residential use.
Residential plumbing rough-ins were planned during initial construction to simplify future interior build-outs and reduce the need for major retrofits later.
The slab system was engineered with reinforced perimeter and interior beams to help support long-term structural stability and residential use.
Open-cell spray foam insulation was installed throughout the roof and wall systems to improve interior comfort, temperature control, and overall energy efficiency.
The project included plumbing rough-ins for future residential use, including kitchen, bathroom, and water heater connections incorporated during the initial construction phase.
Full stone veneer wainscot was added to enhance the finished appearance of the building while complementing the surrounding rural residential setting.
Multiple framed openings and roll-up doors were incorporated to improve accessibility, everyday usability, and long-term flexibility for the property owner.
The combination of stone veneer accents, residential windows, and clean exterior finishes helped create a more refined residential appearance rather than a traditional utility-focused structure.
Coordinating residential planning, utility systems, scheduling, and upgraded finish selections into a single cohesive project scope.
The project incorporated insulation systems, plumbing rough-ins, reinforced concrete engineering, exterior upgrades, and framed openings during the initial planning phase to support long-term residential functionality from the start.
The result is a durable residential metal building designed for long-term usability, comfort, and flexibility within a growing rural residential community.
